Game drives in the wilds of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater as well as The Grumeti with a stop over by Lake Victoria. Trek the endangered mountain gorillas and take time to reflect at the Genocide Memorial in Kigali, Rwanda.

Spending Money
You will need spending money to cover drinks, lunch, souvenirs and different small incidental costs whilst on tour such as cheap excursions costing under U$20 like a visit to the Maasai in the Serengeti.
Tipping is customary in Africa, so budget for gratuities if you wish for guides or drivers who provide good service such as your guides whilst gorilla trekking. Again it is at your discretion, but your tour leader and driver will appreciate a tip to acknowledge their hard work during your tour.
For some excursions extra transport is needed to get to the start point such as to the gorillas, and lastly some campsites en route also have simple huts or chalets on site. If you feel like a break from camping and youd like an upgrade at some point it is well worth having a little bit of money budgeted accordingly.
The recommended spending money for The Wildlife Encounter (Reverse) is: US$200 - US$255
Visa
Your passport needs to be valid for at least 6-9 months after your trip finishes. Ensure as well you have adequate pages in your passport for each country you visit. Up to 2 consecutive blank pages can be required.If you have dual nationality you can only use one passport for the entire trip, but bringing both is wise as a back up strategy. You can find more information on the different country listings on the UK FCDOs website (https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice) underentry requirements. Do be aware it can be illegal to travel in Africa on two passports.
Kenya now requires most visitors to apply for an ETA (electronic travel authorisation) prior to arrival. This is instead of the former tourist visa and can be done online.
Most passport holders can then arrange the Tanzanian visa in Africa at the border.
For those nationals that require a visa for Rwanda and Uganda, it is best to purchase the East Africa Tourist visa on arrival at the border to Rwanda. This will give you entry to Rwanda and Uganda as well as re-entry to Rwanda. This is 100 USD payable in USD cash.
For those nationals that do not need to pay for a visa for Rwanda, you will need to apply online ahead of time for a Ugandan visa online. This is 50 USD.
Please note that Irish citizens do not require a visa for Uganda and so it is best to purchase a single entry visa for Rwanda as we travel through the border from Tanzania, and then purchase another single entry visa as we return to Rwanda from Uganda. The single entry visa is 30 USD for each entry.
Please note South African nationals only need to apply for a Ugandan visa for this tour.
